安杰當(dāng)代藝術(shù)畫(huà)廊榮幸地推出尹美娟在中國(guó)的第一次個(gè)展“13金發(fā)女郎”。此次展覽地址在安杰當(dāng)代藝術(shù)畫(huà)廊，上海市茂名北路39號(hào)（靠威海路和延安中路），一座有著100年歷史的老洋房里。展期為2008年3月8日至4月6日，開(kāi)放時(shí)間為周二到周日，早上11點(diǎn)到晚上7點(diǎn)。
尹美娟是一位韓國(guó)藝術(shù)家，曾就讀于倫敦戈德史密斯藝術(shù)學(xué)院，并在2007年獲得藝術(shù)系碩士學(xué)位，現(xiàn)工作和生活于倫敦的。
這批新作是藝術(shù)家對(duì)傳統(tǒng)的東西方審美的挑戰(zhàn)，也代表著藝術(shù)家從小對(duì)金發(fā)碧眼的特殊向往。
尹美娟承認(rèn)自己是“明星和超級(jí)害羞女孩”，這次她特地把自己打扮成“維納斯”，成為這批作品的中心，并且宣布“我就是愛(ài)”。
在開(kāi)幕酒會(huì)上和藝術(shù)家接觸一小會(huì)兒，你就會(huì)覺(jué)得有一些她是電影明星，一些是喜劇演員，一些是模特，和百分之百的藝術(shù)家。
安杰當(dāng)代藝術(shù)畫(huà)廊位于上海市茂名北路39號(hào)，威海路和延安中路之間。
安杰當(dāng)代藝術(shù)最早于2005年成立于倫敦，創(chuàng)始人安迪和王靜的初衷是把亞洲當(dāng)代藝術(shù)更多地推廣到西方國(guó)家去，同時(shí)把西方當(dāng)代藝術(shù)介紹到中國(guó)來(lái)。2006年兩人移居上海專(zhuān)職藝術(shù)收藏和顧問(wèn)，并在一年的精心準(zhǔn)備后于2007年3月在上海的中心地段開(kāi)張了實(shí)體畫(huà)廊。

“13 of Blondes” Dorothy M. Yoon Solo Exhibition
8th March – 6th April 2008
Andrew James Art is proud to announce the first solo exhibition of Dorothy M. Yoon’s work in China of her new series “13 of Blondes”. The exhibition will be at Andrew James Art, 39 Maoming Bei Lu, Shanghai, in a period colonial mansion. The exhibition runs from the 8th March – 6th April, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am-7pm.
Dorothy is a London-based Korean artist and studied MFA at Goldsmiths College of Art in London where she graduated in 2007.
This body of work challenges stereotypes of Western and Asian beauty and also addresses her childhood desire to have blonde hair and blue eyes.
The artist who is a self confessed “Superstar Super Shy Girl” makes herself the centre of attention, portraying herself as “Venus” and declaring “I am love.”
Spend an evening with the artists you will come away from it thinking she is part movie star, part comedian, part model and 100% artist
Andrew James Art can be found at 39 North Maoming Road, between Weihai Road and Middle Yan’an Road.
Andrew James Art was founded in London in 2005 by Andrew James and Wang Jing to exhibit Contemporary Asian Art and to introduce foreign art to China. In January 2006 they relocated to Shanghai and freelanced as art consultants before finally opening their gallery in March 2007 in central Shanghai.
